They have kept the hitting coach for way too long and the Sox have had terrible hitting for years. Why not get rid of him? Cooper has at least had some success over the years.

Might be a complete overhaul

Our pitching is a disaster

As long as the Reinsdorks sign his checks, Coop like Williams, Hahn, and possibly Renteria has a job 4 lyfe. Kissing ass/loyalty is more important than competence and talent development don't you know (for another example see The Bulls). And yet the way Moncada, Eloy, and Anderson are producing so far on the MLB Club plus Robert's raking in the Minors are piquing my interest. Every time I think I'm out, they pull me back in!

I'm not worried about Rodon or Lopez. I'm also not worried about Kopech (I expect a recovery year in 2020). That's three legit pitchers right there. Add in Cease and that makes 4.

The relief pitching will come around. When they add in Burdi and a couple of others, I think it will be fine. Right now though...outside of Harerra and Colome it's pretty bad.

Would love to see what Rodon could do if he stayed healthy for a complete year. He has shown (at times) absolute brilliance as a pitcher.

Gotta learn to get guys out with fewer pitches.

Cease has been exceptional thus far at AAA, very excited to see him with the Sox.

A diminished velocity Chris sale getting pounded confirms managements prudence and willingness to make hard unpopular decisions.
