Even got an extra year of control out of it. Love it.

Steamer projections: 272/317/485, 110wRC+, 21 HR, 2.3 fWAR

Sign some bullpen arms and our Sox may actually be decent.

good signing. The White Sox locking up that young core on great deals.

My Sox boner can only extend so far!

Just want a round of applause for Hahn to get ahead of the situation and avoid the Bryant bad blood that probably ends with the Cubs star player walking on them.

Robert is our Baez, our Machado, our Harper, our Bryant...and Hahn opted not to ever give him a bad taste in his mouth. Well done...

Now Tatis Jr's little brother has a chance to fully wash our mouths out of his biggest mistake to date.

I can't wait to watch this line-up this year, and fuck if Vaughn doesn't have a chance to be a Rizzo level bat. I'd like to see him get here by mid summer...no need for the Robert treatment after a full college career. He's a far more natural hitter than Madrigal and can skip the rest and just start figuring it out at the top level.

I'd love to see Vaughn up here, but probably not till 2021.

There really isn't room for him rn with Edwin, McCann, Granda, Abreu and Collins.

Vaughn only made it to high A last year and the results were meh. He's going to need at least a year.

I think the hope is that he's ready for 21 and can step in for Encarnacion.

I don't know...I'll be watching his spring closely and he is the type of guy you might want to skip bad habits in the minors and just let him adjust to major league pitching naturally. Bring him up for a bit and see what happens with your best staff, preparation and advice.

He has a .300 stroke, should be our future Abreu or Rizzo type. I don't like toiling guys like that in the minors...let him adjust to 99 movement as soon as possible...he will pleasantly surprise if given a chance. A great spring could make him a may/june call-up consideration.

Toiling? He's played like 50 total professional games. He's also a 5'9 RH hitter. Unusual to say the least for 1B.

He's not coming up until at least August.

Could play some 1B, but I do think DH is in his cards.

Vaughn should have a great walk rate as a 2 or 3 hitter DH, which should bode well for speed and power elsewhere in line-up. It will be sad if he turns out not to be quick twitch enough for big league pitching.
