Wellington expendable
I just kinda assumed the call up was because Wellington got hurt.

I would be happy to have someone more solid/useful behind McCann

Seems like lately every time Wellington is in to give James a day off, James winds up coming in anyways.

I agree completely.

I just am ready to be done with Wellington if Collins is truly ready.

Collins either had ice water in his veins last night or was too scared to swing, lol I couldn't tell.

1st major league at bat and he takes a nice walk.

Jason said Collins is known for his eye at the plate, so I like to think that was all him.

He hit a three run bomb last night but struck out three times too.
I'd rather see a 24-year old hit a HR and strike out three times than a 32-year old hit a single, strike out when he's not grounding into double plays, and make errors. I don't know what the White Sox are doing in this rebuild with the Zach Collins call up.

Well Collins is far from a sure thing, probably next year a platoon at best, and the Sox should be in win mode next year if they can get their starting pitching healthy and maybe bolstered by an FA or 2.

Collins is heading back to AAA. He looked severely overmatched against big league pitching. He has work to do.
Sellers should move McCann to a contender and let Collins work on it in MLB, as a back-up. Whats the problem?

They can always acquire a catcher in the future if they have to.
