Here are some QBs that may not be HOF that won.

Maholmes, McNair, Gannon, Ryan, Newton

I mean those guys just had a Great Season. Jury is still out on manholes for HOF, but I don’t think any of the others make it.

Naggys system, good WR/TE play, running ability. Why not Mitch?

Nothing would make me more happier than to hear the crowd chant “MVP” when Mitch walks on the field for a playoff game.

I think this guy has the arm talent of Goff with the feet of josh Allen. The sky isn’t the limit, outer space is.

Would this put him in MVP category ?
13-3 Record
65% completion
41 TD passing
7 TD rushing
4750 passing yards
500 rushing yards
QBR 95%

I feel good about Mitch

Because Mahomes... lol

Maybe let's wait to have the discussion until after he puts the Bears in a SB? TBH, if he's not the one carrying the team in to the big dance, people will rightly say that the defense carries the team. Not him.

Maholmes did not win the super bowl nor did newton, Ryan, or McNair

I don't ever foresee Mitch having less than 10 INTs in a season. Nagy is aggressive and gives him the green light to gamble and then he always seems to have a few boneheaded throws every game as well. I could see him having a 65% completion, 35 TDs, 12-14INT, 10 rushing TD season though.

Yes, I know. He just posted rediculous stats that might not get eclipsed for a long time. Since I don't see Trubisky putting up those kind of #'s, the only other option was the Superbowl if he wants to beat out Mahomes.

It was a little tongue in cheek, but I realize sometimes that doesn't always come across well via text on a message board.

Well, I guess, but by that logic can't any player say 'why not them for MVP'?

He has a lot more to show than to be even enter the discussion for MVP.
I would say about 40+players have better odds to win the MVP next year

He could.

It is not likely, but it could happen.

Yeah and I COULD win the lottery.

A few? You are much too kind to him Hawkbear.
Hill doesn't play, and we'll watch the KC offense come to a screeching halt...

Mahomes will likely take a step back seeing as how throwing 50 TDs in back to back seasons in unheard of but he is still capable of carrying that offense. Trubersky on the other hand needs everyone to carry him just to look competent.

Assuming he threw the ball 550 times, that means he'd have to throw 29 interceptions to only have a 95 QBR. Otherwise, if he threw 20, he'd be in the 100's.

Those numbers would have him being talked about as the best QB in the league and maybe the best season any QB has ever had (assuming the QBR number was randomly thrown out there)
