Besides for the possibility of Kevin White (which I don't recall being the case)...... who else has he drafted with an existing injury?
Floyd...? Trubinsky...? R. Smith...?
Injuries which happen after they were drafted or signed can't be counted.
I'm more annoyed by people who get annoyed when other people use the term 'we' when talking about their favorite team. It's not hard to understand why the term'we' is used. At its basics....a team represents a city or region.... like the Bears here in Chicago. When people say 'we' its in...
Wow..... the apathy against a first time first year head coach... who took a team no one expected to even be in the playoff to begin with from first to last.
Yeah he sucks.
Weak link is relative on this defense. I see people talking about Amos or Floyd.... Trevathan or Smith......... teams have tried to attack those areas......and guess what....they learn why the defense is so good.... they don't have much success.
The Bears arguably has the best line backing...
When you don't hear the name of a player often, esp in the secondary...... that usually means they are playing well. People just don't seam to understand that. If you hear his name a lot.... that more than often means he has gotten burnt.... maybe a big play like an INT.... but.... most...
Gary Fencik, Mark Carrier, Mike Brown....... off the top of my head... Eddie hopes to be among those guys.
Eddie has had good start..... also you can't look at a single stat like INT per season and hail him for that..... not only because he only has a two season ave. compared to the others...
With more exp in the system and continued maturity as a QB (Remember Mitch has not played QB as much as any of his peers who have come out in the past three seasons)... he can... and I believe will get better at his read progressions. Just as I'm not concerned about his tendency to over...
Career record.... the team sucked when he took over... a 3-5 year turn around is typical of a new GM toa complete over haul of a roster... if not longer... and get pieces into place. And yes... you expect loosing before the winning begins. You speak as if it's an aberration and not typical...
Glennon was a diversion and got paid well to be a diversion. Pace new he wanted to draft a QB...but he wanted every one to think he was set to settle with Glennon and put his money on him to complete the illusion.
The fact that he still went ahead and traded up one spot to get Trubs says...
One big thing people seam to not think about....you have to put a team on the field to try and look competitive... evenif you don'tthink the players you have are really that good. A lot of FA signings are simply because you have to field a team.
Royal - we needed some one to try to catch a...
Angelo inherited some of our best players... and with Lovie at coach we made the playoffs and ha a SB appearance. But his horrid drafting eventually caught up and destroyed the franchise. Also... you could already see the writing on the wall at some critical positions like QB... that we...
The point is........ he DIDN'T.... lol. Glennon was set up to be a place holder. And his horrible play forced Trubs in sooner than later.... but .... that was inevitable regardless.
That makes as much since as a wooden nickle. If the negatives outweighed the...
Over the past few seasons... very few fans showed the foresight and clarity to understand what Pace was doing and the tolerance to extend him patience while he did it.
Most fans complained... said he sucked... berated every move they could not understand and actually wanted him fired.
The...
