My hypothesis is Glennon's durability. This is a good move if you're trying to groom a rookie. Pace was pretty sure he could get Trubs and needed a durable vet to stay on the field for better or worse to get HIS guy ready.

Ditto. I was stoked and shocked when we got cutler. I would not have given him the current contract. It's like having to swallow the bitter pill with a cat piss chaser.
