This move ensures they'll be irrelevant for many more years to come. Typical move by an incompetent Bulls front office.

Gotta ask yourself something. Would you rather rebuild now, or two years later when Butler becomes a free agent (marginal trade value)?

You are entitled to your opinion. The top 3 markets don't get much interest from elite FAs like Durant these days. You can dream about it for now though.

The Warriors didn't look like a team that's one win away from an NBA championship. Game was thrown, no question. All about the bottomline.

Anybody with a clue about the NBA knows the Lakers have zero interest in a longterm rebuild. They forced themselves into this position by giving that ridiculous contract to Kobe. He's also the reason the Lakers couldn't attract interest from bigtime FAs, and don't have any real trade chips to...
None of this is true. The Lakers have coveted star players for several years. They like Butler, and have asked about him as recently as last year too.

Gar Forman is fired, John Paxson removed from all basketball operations and personnel decisions. Rose, Butler, Gibson and Dunleavy traded for younger players and multiple draft picks.

Rose stopped caring about anything basketball or Chicago related years ago. I'm happy for him and his family though. The Bulls should send him to the Lakers or Sac-town, since he lives out there now.
