Both PJ Walker and Justin Fields are NFL QB's. Both have started and won games in the NFL, and both have beaten atleast one playoff team. Thus both meet your post's criteria for what a "proven" QB is. How is comparing the two in this case making a false equivalency?

Thing is, most NFL QB's can "win in the nfl" if given more than a few starts. Forget the superbowl, the real question is can you even make the playoffs with a QB who consistently misses open receivers and has to proven to be the worst QB in the league in the 4th quarter?
