The Lions excellent O-Line isn't going anywhere, so they'll be consistently decent going forward. Goff might be decent enough to contend with, but they need a new HC badly.
I know this won't happen, but they should try to offer Johnson Campbell's job in the offseason. It will seem like a hindsight good idea when the idiot inevitably wears out his welcome and gets shown the door.
Even not factoring in that the momentum swung on the first failed attempt, they would be up 3 instead of down 3 taking the field goals. You don't need to worry about being the underdog when you have the chance to go up 3 possessions in the 2nd half.
I know everyone tries to read into postseason games a narrative that props up their own opinions, but this really does show how the wrong head coach can put a good team in a position to lose. Campbell is even more of a weak link than Goff from where I'm sitting.

I wouldn't make decisions for the team by fan vote or anything, but if you can't see where this is heading I don't know what to tell you. Two years from now nobody is going to think this was the right call.
Going into the offseason with two top 10 picks should be exciting, but I have so much less faith in leadership knowing they'd make a decision like this. Can't wait for people to start convincing themselves that handing over another prospect to Getsy is a good idea.
