well....Q had him 79 games across 2 seasons...total of 5 goals and 13 assists.
i thought he was gone before JC showed up, but he had him his first season for 43 games, he had 3 goals and 6 assists.
looking at his numbers, the thing that jumped out at me was that he's still just 24 years old...
no doubt the sellout streak could be in jeopardy next season, but they only offered up 3,820 seats for sale and they sold every one.
so as they mentioned post game, the sellout streak is technically still a thing.
30% of the goalies that have played in the NHL this season have been 32 or older. (18 out of 60)
and if by chance he does make the hogs, i doubt they'd offer him a contract any longer than a year anyways.
it's just a PTO for the hogs. it's just a few bucks.
he's going to be battling juggernauts matt tomkins, cale morris and tom auburn.
out of the 4, only one has had a hand in a cup run. or to take another tangent...to be singled out by an american president. (i know i know. that won't help his...
if i recall, they were 2 long term members (25 years each +/- ?) of the people who maintain the ice at the UC.
i believe they make these announcements for the sole purpose of showing respect to their families and i wouldn't doubt the orders to do that come from the top.
just my opinion.
Granada might get a charge out of this because if i recall we argued about the pros and cons of tom wilson vehemently on the old boards.
What we need on this team isn't another prima donna....its a tom wilson or a couple guys from vegas' bottom 6.
found a collection of complete p/o games on YT.
of course there's lots missing but if you're ever bored out of your tits at 3 a.m. you could give one of these a spin.

1983...
his contract year was supposed to be this year actually. they extended him but he's still on under 900k this year.
i sort've agree with the rest of your post but for his size, i think he's pretty good along the boards.
if he was a defensive juggernaut ....he'd have easily gone top 10, not #39.
for whatever reason, arizona is 7-9-2 since hall arrived. (hall's gone 7g, 9a in 18 games)
their PP was a league 10th best (20.8%) before he got there and in the period of games he's been with the 'yotes their PP is 25th in the league (17.9%)
go figure.
14-1-2 the last 17 road games in ottawa, montreal and toronto combined.
Gracious hosts in E. Canada lately.
Hopefully 15-1-2 after the next one but the leaves are up a few notches from ottawa and montreal.
