    Pretty much any OLB opposite Mack will have to be cheap as hell. I'm sure they will tender Floyd next year because it isn't that expensive. What a disappointment he(Floyd) has been.

    The bad news, it seems with guys like Shaheen, who have promise but aren't established the injuries seem to derail much of the season..when he comes he's buried on the chart, not really producing great, fallen out of favor, etc.

    Not a doctor, but a walking boot/crutches indicates sprain. It could be a bad one though he might not be ready till week 3 or 4. Not season ending though.

    The agent works for the player. At any point Smith can tell his agent I am not missing anymore of camp. Just as Urlacher alluded to this weekend. I am beginning to question this kids character and passion for the game.

    1. 5th round vs UDFA isn't the same. 2. Sherman was timed very slow, but he was a smart football player and had pretty good ball instincts, IIRC.
