  1. Did D-Rose cheat on his SAT exam?

Agreed. At least this wasn't 'Chris Webber' bad. Rose didn't take on several hundred thousand dollars nor did he live a life in utter luxury. This will have no ramification on his NBA career.
  2. Blair 6'7.5 in shoes

If Blair is 6'7.5 in shoes, it means he's closer to 6'9-6'10 simply because of his neck lenght. He has a very short neck, whereas his shoulder height is comparable to much taller forwards.
  3. Bynum

Only going by Lakers fan comments on this; They've said they really want a PG who can fit into the triangle. Kirk would be the perfect fit. He can shoot, pass and has always had good instincts. Tyrus might actually learn something if Phil Jackson gave him the time of day, and the pick would be...
  4. More speculation that Bosh could be dealt

If Bosh is to move on, I could imagine they'd be trying to rebuild. If Miami offers Beasley, then that's a good start for them. Bulls would be forced to look Phoenix' way instead. My gut feeling for the year; Bosh is a no-go, and we acquire Amare Stoudemire. It just seems like a more likely...
  5. More speculation that Bosh could be dealt

Since J.A Adande is speaking for someone else, I'm not as inclined to reject the comment. If true, Bulls have a shot at draft time to nap him. Tyrus Thomas ($3.7M) Jerome James ($6.2M) Luol Deng ($9.3M) Total: $19.2M Chris Bosh ($14.4M) Jason Kapono ($5.7M) Total: $20.1M It's a good opening...
  6. Did MJ try and save Browns rings?

Some years ago, Kenny Smith wrote for SLAM Magazine. He had a great article on how players threw their money away and on what. It was basically a guide to NBA players on what not to do. I still that magazine somewhere. I'll post it if I ever find it. It's a good read.
  7. Stable Uncertainty

dougthonus wrote: If that was directed at me, I have a problem with it. When making an article, I do not try to push agendas or 'reach' for arguments. I argument things I believe in, and not something that needs to fit the bill. I did not see Kirk as a distributor this season, and I do not...
  8. Stable Uncertainty

dougthonus wrote: Sorry for the late reply. I couldn't enter the site for some reason. Today, it works fine. Derrick's assist rate IS higher. 6.1 per 36 to 5.3 per 36. The slight difference can be made up by two things; 1. Rookie mistakes 2. Kirk matching up against second-stringers Kirk...
  9. Stable Uncertainty

dougthonus wrote: I disagree. If Kirk does a better job at delivering the ball to players off screens and cuts, why is his assist rate that low? Rose is perfectly capable, and has proven this, of finding players in a crowd as well as players coming off screens. Though neither Kirk nor Derrick...
