PFR: Bears unlikely to trade #9 pick

I have two questions. 1: Who would be a surprise pick at 9 for the Bears? (not necessarily bad) 2: What would be a bad pick for the Bears at 9? (obviously not QB, DB, or RB). At this point, I am not sure there is a bad pick to make at 9. For me, if you have guys that are clearly BPA on big...

How to Solve Bears' Passrush Problem: Sack Total Adjusted with Sweat

I think everyone agrees that we need more sacks, but how many more? Bears led the league in INTs last season as a direct result of the increased QB pressure. I think scheme and just improved ability from current players will improve the sack total.

Per Flus Bears will take BPA at Nine

If that's really the case, you have to imagine the following as BPA. 1: Alt 2: Odunze 3: Turner 4: Verse 5: Bowers 6: Fashanu

NFL teams vote for XFL style kickoffs

This change will likely coincide with the proposal to accept the ball instead of a kickoff on your own 25 with 4th and 15 if I remember correctly. This essentially makes the onside kick no longer an option so, I imagine the 4th and 15 on your own 25 (or something similar) will be the way to...

    Worst Option for #9?

I still think if Odunze is on the board, you have to draft him. I want another DL too, but let's look at long term here. Let's assume some good stuff happens and the Bears start winning more games consistently. They are unlikely to be picking in the top 10 anytime soon. The likelihood of...

Officail Caleb Williams Pro Day IGT(FTO)

I think a better question would be, what would any of the other prospects have to show to not make Williams the pick at this point? What would differentiate them from CW? Accuracy? Command? Processing? Personality? Arm Strength? What do you think?

Officail Caleb Williams Pro Day IGT(FTO)

You are in fact shorter later in the day than earlier in the day because gravity. Only thing that matters is decision making, accuracy, and getting the ball in tight windows. That's really the measure of whether Caleb will be successful in the NFL. 62.6% is just not going to cut it.

What is the worst case scenario for how the draft plays out for the Bears at 9?

Why I would not draft Latu. https://sports.yahoo.com/lb-leighton-vander-esch-medically-retires-at-age-28-jerry-jones-proud-played-for-cowboys-182343265.html Leighton is another guy who had a lot of talent, but had some medical issues in college. Now, he's medically retiring at 28.

    #9 pick choice?

You have to imagine that the Bears will not stay at 9. They will try to acquire as much capital as possible for that pick. It would be nice to have another wideout under team control for 4 years, but I would be quite surprised if Poles made that move. More than likely, Poles moves down and fills...

    FREE AGENCY NO NEWS THREAD

I'm not. There is an assumption that Poles did not try to get players to fill holes. He just understands some simple things. 1: Do not pay #1 money for #2 players. 2: Most free agents are #2s and not #1s 3: Do not commit too much capital to one position ($50 million for Edge is not smart long...
