Cheap ass NFL needs to invest in a developmental league.. At least a few games in the offseason for players out of work trying to showcase themselves.

The NFL already has a free developmental league. It's called the NCAA.

I think they'll be back next year. Relatively speaking, they did well. Every week viewership went down, last week avg about 833k, with the increasing closings because of covid19. They can make 800k to 1mil work. It wasn't a bad start. People have to get used to it. I think they should have played the playoffs and championship, with empty stadiums, that would have been their best ratings.

But why? When the CFL's been around for years and gets no respect.

When Pace brings in one of CFL's best if not THE best CB, we all just write him off as not addressing CB hole at all.
Hardly seen as developmental. Zero face validity at least. Why would XFL be any different?

Granted, Trestman screwed the pooch with Bears fans, so CFL = garbage after our sample size of N=1.

So basically, it's 100% on Tre Roberson to prove to the XFL there's a shot at a developmental league being a success. ?

NFL Europe had its flaws, but it was a great chance for practice squad players to grow

Vince McMahon needs to retire from the business world...he's no longer a good business man. The wrestling business is in the crapper....near historically low TV ratings.
LOL, the WWE is worth more than it ever was in his lifetime.

P.S. Before you say something dumb again.

TV Viewership is down 70% since 1980. That really is not saying much.

Top Ratings Shows by Start of Each Decade since 1980:
1980: Dallas (34.5)
1990: Cheers (21.3)
2000: Survivor (17.4)
2010: American Idol (14.5)
2018: Sunday Night Football (10.9)

TV ratings are almost useless now. Streaming services and way more content now.

There is a crap ton more content now to choose from, Hulu, Netflix, Prime Videos, etc. etc. Not to mention there was no internet back in the cave man days...

You're a moron, no new league could withstand the current situation with covid-19

That wasn't nice. What part didn't you like? Pointing out that all the other startups folded without a health catastrophe, or Trestman being unemployed again?

That's because Fox was stupid and paid McMahon a Kings Ranson to air Smackdown...which is pulling in horrible ratings for FOX. Vince also sold $275M in WWE stock to help fund the now defunct XFL. That's stock he wished he had now.

So, what part of that is Vince not being a great business man and should retire. You literally just said he got a kings ransom
