This will sound odd, but here me out. Gale Sayers. Because most Bears fans think Walter Payton the better running back.

Surprised not one mention of Peanut Tillman. Guy was a beast on the field with 44 forced fumbles.

Current Bears would have to be J.P. Holtz. Watch that guy block in the run game

Man, that guy was really looking to be a special player. Then he fucked up his knee in 07 against the Cowboys and he was never the same. In 05 and 06 he was damn near unblockable!

Keith Traylor

him and Ted Washington we're total beasts up the middle. Clogged it up real good. Plus his epic fumble return will always be an awesome Bears moment

From the current roster its Bilal Nichols.

Of all time since Ive been alive, I would have to say Charles Tillman. I know he isnt underrated by us Bear fans, but among the pop consensus Tillman was, and still is criminally underrated.

Often when Tillmans name is brought up outside of Bears media, he wrongfully gets slapped with that "Cover 2 Only" CB drivel. I would agree if your talking avout the Vashers and Ricky Manning Jr.s of the league, but with Tillman the label is a flat out croc of shit.

By the prime of Tillmans career he developed into a CB who legitimately played all 5 coverage techniques while also being one of the best run defending CBs Ive ever watched.

How many times did Tillman man up with Calvin Johnson and shut his ass down? I know it was more than once. I know Johnson couldnt get the better of him until Peanut was at the end of the line & could no longer stay on the field.

Tillman will always get snubbed by the media as just a C2 corner. Half of which dont even understand what C2 is or what it entails. I think the C2 was basically tossed to the scrapheap when Marinelli was hired on as the DC.
