Superbowl

Quinn turns 30 this summer, but the veteran edge rusher is one of the league's most underrated players. In his only season with Dallas, Quinn racked up 11.5 sacks (eighth among edge rushers), 72 pass-rush wins (third) and a 21.5% pass-rush win rate (first) in 2019. He has reached 8.5 sacks all five seasons in which he played at least 600 snaps. In Chicago, Quinn replaces Floyd opposite superstar Khalil Mack.

Floyd impressed with 7.0 sacks as a rookie in 2016, but his totals have progressively dipped from 4.5 in 2017 to 4.0 in 2018 to 3.0 last season. He ranked ninth among edge rushers in snaps last season but struggled to only 27 pass-rush wins (51st) and a 0.8% sack rate (19th worst). Floyd is now with the Rams

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bears
This defense has the potential to be #1 overall again.

And they will lead the NFL in takeaways.
The only stat I care/want them to lead the nfl in, is points allowed.

This D is gonna be Baaaad. Possibly Top Three or better.

This O has the possibility of being Bottom 5

I should change my prediction from 10-6 or 11-5
to 8-8 because of Nagy being stubborn in his ways

But its a new season and kool-aide and spring hope interferes with rational observation

The defense should be great. So, it’s on Nagy to figure out how to finish better than 29th in the league scoring. If not his seat is going to be uncomfortably warm.

I’ve said this is one of Paces best signing of his career.

On paper this defense looks very dangerous but us Bears fans are usually disappointed every season.

Who’s ready for another great Bears D to be let down by the offense!!!

I'm not sure if it's being ready for it, or just being numb to it at this point. Either way, it's a train we've all taken to the end of a line.

I think the 'upgrade' portion of this has something to do with Quinn being decent, but also has a larger weighting on just how bad Floyd was. When Hicks went down it left Mack all by himself.

This is just decent to you?? These are high end stats.

He was good. Lawrence got the double teams most of the year, so he did well in 1-on-1 situations. I'm not saying he was bad, just the largest part of the upgrade was that Floyd was a dud.

According to that graph(which supposedly is from nextgen stats), Lawrence got about 1.5 more double teams a game.
