why?
He was the last Bear HC to get to the SB. And he did it without a Qb

Tons of talent, he developed no viable offense. Failure

Only coach in history that could take a nap standing on the sideline

Continuing the UI tradition of shitty teams at only $5M/year

who was his Qb? then and now....that's the question

Could you imagine how awful the articles about you would be if someone were hard up enough to write about you? Maybe they could publish something in Denny’s Digest

I liked Lovie as our HC, but completely understood why he got fired after a 10 win season. He was too stubborn for too long about his defense, and he & Angelo neglected to o-line for far too long.

When they finally got around to fixing it, their moves didn't pan out, and they ended up losing their jobs. History is repeating itself.

Devin Hester was a huge part of their offense. he was a true game changer.

Maybe I’m remembering incorrectly but didn’t the bears throw a lot of bombs early in games and then just ride the leads they obtained?

Always liked Lovie. Started watching in about 2002 (Dick Jauron?) and we were rubbish, so liked that Smith was able to make us into a good team.

As mentioned, OLine was never great under him, although decent when we got to the Super Bowl. Think we had Kreutz, Brown and Miller.
