Guess the Bears didn't want HaHa to leave.

On a more serious note. I prefer the current alignment. I was happy to have Dix last year but I think it limited Eddie a bit who I feel is better in a more a pure FS situation.

Oh i'm 100% behind letting HaHa go and signing Gipson who can play in the box and Eddie goes back to his more natural FS spot.

I won't hold it against you. I think Gipson is a perfect fit for this defense now though.

Please watch his highlights and his ability to tackle. He's not some gunshy safety with ballskills that hesitates to attack. He's a guy who can do it all. I'd argue he takes better tackling angles than Jackson and has more power in his hits too.

Jackson is by far the most cunning safety I've watched. He attacks the ball and sells open throws to QBs like Deion Sanders used to. His closing speed is unrealistic yet there it is.

Nope, i wish we still had him as well but i do like this T.Gipson/E.Jackson duo. I don't know if Gipson will be as big of a hitter as Amos was but he's still a sure tackler and i'd bet he'll have more turnovers then Amos had in any one season, which isn't saying much but i could see him with 2-3 INT's this season.
