Yes, It was the Royals we played, but there was so much more good than previously. Some good hitting and much pitching this weekend. All alone in 2nd place now.

Some Prime Time games against the Brewers should tell us if this team is starting to surge. Maybe then we can get more than five people posting in this forum.

Since I'm out here in Germany, I'll catch whichever games I can watch when I'm not asleep due to the Time Difference . Most will still post at Sox Talk or a certain other forum (that happens to currently be down).

I figured this would be a series even the North Siders want to see the Sox toast someone. Seven game win streak would put that tepid start so far in the rearview mirror...it would almost be like it never happened at all.

Was fun watching Madrigal go nuts yesterday. Old school reference but he reminded me of a "spray hitter" from the old Sega baseball game in the 80s. Dude has an incredible ability to barrel the ball almost anywhere around the plate.

Great win. Couldn't believe that Burnes didn't walk Abreu there. Grandal was really struggling, and Abreu clearly had a good bead on Burnes.
