Blazers should give LAL some fits. I'm curious to see how the East plays out..

Yep. If Portland won either game, they were in, but they won the first, so no need for a second.
It really didn't dawn on me until I was double checking to see if there was a score for yesterday. That fourth quarter on Saturday was a really fun 12 minutes.

I forgot about the game Saturday, so I missed it.

Was it something you think the NBA should start doing every year now?

I think it would be cool if you did those kind of play-in games after the regular season. The scenario being after 82, Portland and Memphis are tied for the 8th seed and Portland won the season series. So yeah, give them that extra game(s) at the end of the regular season. Portland would need the one, Memphis would need the two. If they tied the season series, give them a best of three.

I also think this is certainly the time/situation in which you can try things out that can carry over to following seasons. I think that Portland-Memphis game was a winner. (Would have liked them try to just seed the top 16 teams, regardless of conference ((not sure the Portland-Memphis game would have mattered in that scenario))

Mitchell puts up 57, which puts him 3rd most for an NBA playoff game, behind Jordan's 63, and Elgin Baylor's 61.

Him and Murray were really fun to watch down the stretch. I was surprised they went to Joker on that last play in the 4th.

I've said a lot of negative things about Adam Silver, but I have to admit he's done a great job with this bubble.

Blazers are obviously more than capable of making this a competitive series, but not sure Orlando can replicate that magic (get it?) three more times.

I wouldn't think so, but the Bucks have looked fairly awful in the bubble overall. So have the Lakers.
