Bears hire Scott Fitterer as GM
Bears hire Eric Bieniemy as head coach
As one of the most-discussed head coaching candidate for 2021, Eric Bieniemy has been part of the explosive fireworks show that is the Chiefs’ offense. While Andy Reid is the ultimate mastermind behind the operation, Bieniemy has been a key cog in the game planning and installation of the offense.
Bieniemy’s last stint as the true offensive coordinator of a team occurred at the collegiate level at the University of Colorado. His Colorado teams in two years combined for four wins and were ranked 109th and 120th in the country. There’s a gamble to be had, but it could pay off in a big way if he can replicate the Chiefs’ success.

New Contracts
Bears sign LG Joe Thuney to 5 years 69 million/45 guaranteed
Thuney was franchise tagged by the New England Patriots after being unable to come to terms on a long term deal. Thuney would be the best player by far on the offensive line if signed by the Bears and with Daniels coming back healthy in 2021 Bears front three would be well improved from 2020.
Bears sign WR Kenny Stills to 2 years 18 million/8.5 guaranteed
Allen Robinson probably won't return to the Bears next season with the QB woes luckily the Bears have some young rising stars in Darnell Mooney, Anthony Miller, and our TE group. Stills is a decent receiver and he won't break the bank.
Bears sign QB Joe Flacco to 2 years 3 millon/1.5 guaranteed
Trubisky is done in Chicago but will probably command a high price as a back up
Draft
1[15] RT Sam Cosmi [Texas] 6'6 295lbs
2[] NT Jay Tufele [USC] 6'3 305lbs
Bears are really struggling without Eddie Goldman Bears can benefit a lot having a good NT that can back him up and maybe work in some rotation to keep our defense fresh.
3[] Hamilcar Rashed Jr [Oregon State] 6'4 236lbs
5[] OG Tommy Kraemer [Notre Dame] 6'5 319lbs
6[] CB Robert Rochell [Central Arkansas]

Bears hire Scott Fitterer as GM
co-director of player personnel, Seahawks: Fitterer’s been close to landing a GM position for a few years now—he was runner-up for the Jets job in May. He combines a strong personality with vast knowledge and an impressive network on the college side, and he’s gathered more in-office experience the last few years.

Draft
1[15] RT Sam Cosmi [Texas] 6'6 295lbs
10/17/20: Last fall, team sources told me they liked Cosmi and thought he was a better prospect than Connor Williams was at Texas. They felt Cosmi was raw and needing development, but athletically, he was an interesting prospect. Cosmi needs to get stronger for the NFL. Team sources believed he needed to go back to school if he wanted to be a secure first-round pick in his draft class, and Cosmi wisely decided to go back to Austin for his senior year.
In speaking to to team sources who saw Cosmi to open the 2020 season, they said that Cosmi looks like has added some good weight and he looks better physically. Cosmi has blocked well for Texas and could stand to continue to get even stronger for the next level. WalterFootball
Rashed was a dangerous edge rusher and one of the most prolific quarterback hunters in college football during the 2019 season. As a run defender, he showed improvement on the edge. Rashed should add weight to his frame to fit as a 3-4 edge rusher in the NFL. He is too undersized to play 4-3 defensive end, so he would have to be a Sam - strong side - linebacker who helps in passing situations. WalterFootball
5[] OG Tommy Kraemer [Notre Dame] 6'5 319lbs
10/17/20: Thus far in 2020, Kraemer has blocked well for the Fighting Irish. He went down with a knee injury during the 2019 season, but prior to that, he was having a solid season for Notre Dame. Kraemer has played guard and right tackle, but for the NFL, he projects as a guard. Kraemer needs to stay healthy as a senior to rise. He started at right guard against Duke in the 2020 season opener. WalterFootball
