cubs have looked pretty dominant vs NL west teams save for an iffy giant series.... makes me wonder if it's a style thing vs those teams that has given them such success where as they've not looked as good vs some other teams. Seems like they just match up well for whatever reason.

Orrrrr winning is bad for trading away players.

Keep trying skippy.

sure, go ahead and pretend a teams record against a team in the regular season correlates with the outcome of the same matchup in the postseason.

oh, and how is schwarber doing in the Korea baseball league this season?!

Never said #1. I was just waiting for your Butthurt snap at the no hitter. Didn't post during the game and snap at a post that reflects a good thing.

That is being a troll.

#2 very typical of you to necro crap from the off season. As I recall I posted that due to him getting a opertunity to catch for a year then returning on a mega deal.

Catcher with 40 HR will get paid. A LF/DH is common and will make far less.

Your whole diatribe was the same crap spewed out pro Soler anti Schwarber in 2019. Soler shut down after that season.

So all I have to say is he needs a consistent track record before spanking off to the guy. He could just shut down or tank next year.

That is why I support resigning Bryant and Rizzo. They are consistent players. Something that you would rather toss away for lottery tickets.

#sad

The KBO?

He'll be on a major league roster soon

If that was the case then a team would have traded for him. Most teams are looking to shed contract right now and make smart signings. Kyle is still under arb3 for the next team. That doesn't go away. 10 mil for a .230 hitter is a bit steep.

If he was that highly rated then Jed would have offered and flipped in a deal. The fact that he cut means that "there was no market for him"

Cubs fans can be so funny in their faith.

Scwarber will be on a roster especially if the DH sticks. He has a place in the majors.

He would balloon up to 300lbs on brat and HoHo's. It don't burn cal's walking to 1st 1 time per day and doing the babe trot 3 per week. He strikes out far too often to burn them running to 1st.

Eventually they will have to get a forklift to haul him over.

Really wanna keep on pretending you didn’t claim schwarber would end up signing overseas?! You could of just owned it and said you really didn’t expect him to bounce back like he has or get the contract he did with the Nats. Instead, you’d rather pretend you never said it at all, that’s where you lose respect…not for being wrong but for pretending like your wrong never occurred

Also, do show me where I’ve ever been pro Soler and anti Schwarber from 2019. You know, provide posts like I did with you and your posts claiming schwarber would end up overseas. Instead, you’ll whine and bitch but not provide any evidence. You just spout it off, hoping it’ll be believed to be so
