Not really a great list there in my opinion, but there's no way the Bears would hire McDaniels. He would demand too much control and could see a short future as a Bears coach due to that. McCaskey's want a puppet who won't go over their decisions. Plus, if you keep Pace, there could be some very serious head butting.

The only other name I like there is Hackett.

Nobody here really knows anything about the Bears structure, plans, or coaching or GM candidates. I am sure there are plenty of smart folks who read sports blogs and occasionally comment, but we have no inside information, none, zero, bupkus, nada! So we will know in 11 days what he Bears next step is, until then we can "enjoy" the last two games and then find out like everybody else. We also really don't know which potential coaches would be good or bad for the Bears. So let us just wait until there is some real news. Until then we can continue making fun of Aaron Rodgers Covid Toe...

Forget naggy pace isn’t fired yet. So does that mean he is sticking around? If he fine naggy last two more games before the search for the next bum. But if he isn’t they will literally and I mean literally be a month behind the 8 ball
