Is there a reason the Bears never open up the offense?

I look at these other second-year quarterbacks at least getting the chance to sink-or-swim and put up some throws.

Why don’t the Bears ever do this?

Where’s the inventiveness? Where the moving the pocket? Where’s the rollouts? The play-actions?

Porous oline and no talent to throw to. This is a throw away year where they are scraping together a team and stockpiling cap space.
