None of these players fit the offense Nagy is trying to run.

👏🏾👏🏾 Very well put. I have thought the same thing.

    The Problem With Firing Pace

He also didn't learn from them. Spend high picks on good offensive lineman, make sure you have an upper tier or starting caliber backup qb. The Saints rarely had track stars at the skill positions, but the o-line is so good and the qb so accurate that it isn't necessary.

    The Problem With Firing Pace

It depends. Ozzie Newsome drafted a so-so one in Flacco and a serious weapon in Lamar Jackson. Other than that , he had Kyle Boller and other schlubs. Still managed 2 Super Bowl wins in 20 years. He surrounded them 'meh' qb's wit Pro Bowl to HOF caliber talent at nearly all the other positions...

    The Problem With Firing Pace

Pace doesn't seem to be able to draft 3-4 OLB talent. Floyd didn't really fit. Other than that, he drafted that Fitts guy and Trevis Gipson. That's why he had to spend big in free agency and trade market.

Ryan Pace and Nagy are getting fired

If George McCaskey fires Pace and Nagy and doesn't use an ouside consultant to help with both searches, he's gonna pry Jim Harbaugh away from Michigan and make him HC/Football Czar. Not saying this is what he SHOULD doz, but the family will believe their hiring a winner/prodigal son and it...

***OFFICIAL*** IGT: Bears vs Vikings (Seriously Not Ready In The Slightest For Primetime Edition)

Skrine has been victimized for td's often the last few games.

Are the Bears just a loser organization?

Wasn't Hatley the one who drafted Kruetz, Parrish. Colvin, Azumah, Urlacher and Brown?

Are the Bears just a loser organization?

Baltimore won 2 Super Bowls in 20 years(better than us) with Trent Dilfer and Joe Flacco at qb. One was "blech", the other "meh", but the team protected them.

Are the Bears just a loser organization?

Look at some of the mentality fans have been dealing with for decades, even when we were winning in the 80's. We are to believe that other than Tom Thayer( ex OG-Notre Dame) and TE Tim Wrightman(UCLA), no other USFL players could have helped us. Not sure, Doug Williams would have been a...

RUMOR: George McCaskey’s Frustration Mounting With Nagy And Pace

I think Nagy and Pace get fired, even if we finish 8-8 or 9-7 if George feels he can reel in one of these 2 big fish:Jim Harbaugh or Notre Dame's Brian Kelly..offering either one complete control of football power-HC/GM duties. It's a "meatball" decision that the Bears may feel makes sense...

Are the Bears just a loser organization?

Lovie owned the Packers before Rodgers got the job. Lovie's defense, with some exceptions, was highly effective against qb's and playcallers who were halfwits or arrogant pricks. Rodgers is neither of those. Favre, as good as he was let opponents tick around because he would throw interceptions.

Are the Bears just a loser organization?

If Trubisky is allegedly trash, yet Mike Zimmerman has never defeated him as starter, should Zim be fired?

    Tariq Cohen Feels Our Pain....

Mitch can get you 35-50 yards rushing per game and 1st downs with his legs. If he's restrained by the gameplan or too scared to run for fear of getting hurt, then no point in being out there.

Are the Bears just a loser organization?

Unjustly arrogant too. It should irk ownership that the Carolina Panthers, a 25 or 26 year old franchise, has only one less NFC championship game appearance in the Super Bowl era than the Bears--4 to 5.

RUMOR: George McCaskey’s Frustration Mounting With Nagy And Pace

So set up a (clandestine?) meeting with Louis Riddick when he's in town next week for the MNF game. Interview him for GM job. He's not a joke or token candidate, somyou kill 2 birds with one stone:interview a credible candidate early and get one of the Rooney Rule interviews out of the way.

Are the Bears just a loser organization?

The McCaskeys are like those elderly relatives we have that constantly fall for online and telephone scammers and give them money and personal info.

My Reading of the Tea Leaves

Don't trade assets that make thisnlook like an enticing job. Ownership aside, if bear finish 8-8 or 9-7 and Nagy and Pace both get fired, Chicago is probably the best job opening in 2021. Houston just has Watson and no draft picks. Jets are a dumpster fire, even if they get Lawrence, Jags too...

My Reading of the Tea Leaves

We aren't that devoid of talent from player 1-55. There are spots where we are thin, OL, RB. QB's aren't greatbbut are poorly coached. All those "cooks in the kitcen"-Nagy, Lazor, DiFillippo and Ragone and this is the production? Nagy and Pace should be fired. I think there's a chance they may be.

    I can't decide...

Jim Harbaugh and Marc Trestman were on Jon Grudn's Raiders staff in the early 2000's. If Nagy and Pace gets hired and Harbaugh gets the HC job and wanted to bring in Trestman(last seen as HC of XFL team) as OC, would you fans be okay with that? Ron Turner had 2 stints as Bears OC under 2...
