Welp, that was terrible. My quick takes...

The only question that we should ask is did that help Fields? Are there any things from that game that will make him better in 1-2 years? What positives can be drawn and what potential negatives?

Nagy not the worst coach in NFL

Yeah, I just hope Meyer doesn't ruin Lawrence, but it's hard not to feel like that's going to happen. IMHO he's just setting up the next big college gig. Dipped his toes in the pro pool and it's a little too warm for his liking.

    Lovie's Beard > Nagy's Visor

Trestman's panties? Baldinger's deformed pinky? Most knee injuries?

    Lovie's Beard > Nagy's Visor

That faking fraud. Pencil behind his ear while looking over LAMINATED play sheets????

    Lovie's Beard > Nagy's Visor

Not only is this tread useless, but by the title you'd assume there would be a pic or a gif of that lovely Lovie beard. 0/5 stars.

Your Two Suggestions for Nagy Against Cleveland ?

1 - Run the ball - Ideally this will not only help the OL against a good DL, but it can create play action and bootleg opportunities for Fields. 2 - No visor. Some male adults can pull it off. Nagy can't.

Is Hester getting in the Pro Football HOF?

The NFL changed those rules because they have a massive concussion lawsuit in the works and almost all special teams are high risk plays. In short, the NFL had to show they were doing their part to minimize high concussion activities. Hester was awesome, but there's no conspiracy here. This...

BREAKING NEWS where Jason Peter plays against the Bengals with a dislocated fingered for most of the entire game?

No problem at all. My thoughts on Peters are all on these boards. IMHO one of the greatest Eagles all time, a spectacular human being and I wish him all the best. Love the big guy!

BREAKING NEWS where Jason Peter plays against the Bengals with a dislocated fingered for most of the entire game?

So even when he's healthy he still gets injured? Great..... Seriously though, he's played 2 games and got hurt twice. Is that sustainable at 39 years old?

Is Hester getting in the Pro Football HOF?

He should. In today's NFL that limits return opportunities, it's hard to conceptualize how much of an impact he had on a game. IMHO best of all time.

Pompei: "Everyone is best served with (Fields) on the bench"

That's a stretch. He made the throws that he was asked to make and did a good job. Let's try to stay objective. Doesn't mean you have to be, just try to be.

    Fields vs Bengals Review

I still think it's a harder catch then you guys are making it out to be. I've played some decent level WR and he did a lot of really good stuff at the top of his route to get in that position. This isn't some lazy drop. He worked his butt off to get in that position, which unfortunately didn't...

    Arobs drop

IMHO this is 100% correct. It wasn't an easy play. He fought thought a physical corner, adjusted perfectly, then the ball went through his hands. I think what a lot of people are missing is it wasn't some wide open, 5 yards behind the defender type catch. ARob did a lot of the hard work to...

    Fields vs Bengals Review

He had to hand fight and adjust his path to make it catchable. A lot of lesser WRs don't get to that spot. Was it a catchable ball? Yes it was. Was it an easy catch? Not in my eyes.

    Fields vs Bengals Review

I'm actually talking about both. On both plays it's not like Chidobe Awuzie was making it easy. The jump ball was highly contested and on the throw that went through ARob's breadbasket he was hand fighting him at the top of the route and ARob had to bend the route in a bit so it could be on his...

Pompei: "Everyone is best served with (Fields) on the bench"

I don't think this applies to all people in all jobs. Some people do learn more from doing than watching, but that often that speaks to the lack of an adequate training program or that the task being asked to perform is relatively simple. There are examples of both QBs sitting and starting...

Pompei: "Everyone is best served with (Fields) on the bench"

Your stats don't really make much sense. He was hurt once in the first half, missed some snaps, then didn't play in the 2nd half. In the first half he was very efficient going 9/11 for 56 yards. Had a TD, no picks and no fumbles. He also had 25 yards on the ground. Are you saying because...

    Fields vs Bengals Review

I'm not seeing it that way. Defender was right there and they were hand fighting. It was a great throw, but not an easy catch by any means.

    Fields vs Bengals Review

It was only the 2nd game and it's not like he got many first team reps this week to prepare, so it was what it was. Overall I thought he just seemed a bit late on throws. This happens to many rookies where as opposed to throwing with anticipation they have to see it before they let it rip. The...

Pompei: "Everyone is best served with (Fields) on the bench"

I actually agree with the article. Everyone is excited to see what Fields can do, but let's progress at a pace that maximizes long term success. FWIW, Andy was pretty good while he was in there. That's not some claim that he's better or it's an open competition. I'm just saying with the way...
