Getsey's idea of an audible is the rpo. Safety comes down, quick throw outside. Safety stays back, run the ball. Not all games as you sometimes have seen both QBs call audibles. Other games it seems rpo is the plan. At least that's how it feels.

It's a catch-all to make sure they get a slice of any and all earnings - even if he plays until he's into his 40s like Brady. I assume it's boilerplate and not unique for him and his position.

Beyond measurable stats I believe a good part of the value he provides is the fact that he's not a tell in any down or distance. For his OC, him being proficient both blocking/catching and helping hide tendencies by personel grouping perhaps makes up any difference between his passing stats...

I'm 2 episodes in. Quite enjoyable for any football junkie. I was thinking this would show the grind better/more. Maybe in future installments. The Athletic had an article about what backup QBs had to do each week and it was crazy. Wanting to see what starters do which should be even more insane.

Sooo... looking at that chart sure is interesting. Borom and Musty had the best positional rankings. I did not expect that. Everyone being below average? No surprise there. The comparison of the other QB numbers gives me additional hope that with a better quick game and reliable WR/OL play...

My hope is Kramer, after a year to heal and work with Bears coaching and trainers, comes in to camp and takes the position. Between Patrick, Whitehair and Kramer they can likely invest in another position and address C next year if required. That said, I'd be happy w a premium C pick this year...
