  1. Can Murphy be the best defensive player in this draft?

You could do worse than bring Yannick back, or I think Josh Sweat is still a trade option after the draft from the Eagles. Wouldn't mind a couple of Sweaty DE's.
  2. Can Murphy be the best defensive player in this draft?

This is still where I would take the best defensive lineman rather than just look at a positional need DE. I would then trust Poles to fill in the need for DE later in the draft, or through what is left in free agency or even a trade.
  3. Caleb Williams highlight package

That would be nice since every one of them are probably a top 5 prospect in this draft.
  4. I prefer Drake Maye over Caleb Williams

Just based on his skillset Williams does things most NFL QB's can't do.
  5. Montez Sweat Talk Video

I could see it going either way DE or DT. A pass rush like this...............Sweat, Dexter, Walker, Verse. Or one like this.............Sweat, Dexter, Murphy, and perhaps bringing back Ngakoue.
  6. Bill Connelly: Caleb Williams is Russell Wilson 2.0 🤢

I will take young Rodgers, just remember though that came with a lot of sacks also.
  7. Can Murphy be the best defensive player in this draft?

I could see Murphy grading out higher than either Verse or Latu on the Bears board. If that is the case, you draft him. Now since Murphy does not fit every defense, he probably will fall to the mid-first round. Trade with the Saints take Murphy and use the next two picks for a WR and a DE.
  8. No rookie QB has been supported the way the Bears are supporting Caleb Williams

I would say in terms of overall talent Andrew Luck had some good weapons, but not as good as what Williams will have.
  9. PFR: Bears unlikely to trade #9 pick

Yeah............am hearing a lot about Murphy lately. People are saying he is the best defensive player in the draft.
  10. Bears Have the SIXTH Best WR Trio in the NFL.

Right now, before the draft if you are looking for the real Bears trio of receivers it would be Moore, Allen and Kmet. No matter what Wiliams is going to have a lot of weapons to throw to.
  11. It's clear to me the best option at 9 is to trade down

12 or 13 may be the limit of a blue-chip player falling. Even if you are only getting another third round pick there it will be worth it.
  12. Mongo back in the hospital!

Good to hear. Glad they caught his UTI early, because if not treated quickly it can turn septic.
  13. ***OFFICAIL*** Who’s holding down the NFCN cellar in ‘24?

Could be, but until someone knocks them off the top of this division. 1 Lions 2 Packers, a close second at this time. 3 Bears loading up, but just gotta wait and see. 4 Vikings, at this point not even close.
  14. OT: Diggs to the Texans

Glad we got him, because Texans tried to get him first.
  15. OT: Diggs to the Texans

That's true, but the Texans are loading up to make a run at KC. DE Hunter and his 16 sacks along with Barnett as the #3 DE. LB Al-Shaair, solid pickup. DT Autry 11.5 sacks CB CJ Henderson, depth piece. P Townsend, has been one of the best in the league. WR Diggs, say what you want but has been a...
  16. OT: Diggs to the Texans

Plus, probable first round WR, two very good TE's Knox and Kincaid, and a very underrated slot in Shakir. Not as bad off as people think. Bills are still good enough to win their division.
  17. ***OFFICAIL*** Who’s holding down the NFCN cellar in ‘24?

Yeah, I also think the Vikings are going to suck with Darnold at QB.
  18. Anything Interesting besides Caleb? Fingernails or Phone Cases?

Considering 2024 has the least number of underclassmen since 2011 declare for the draft.
  19. How does trading back help the Bears in a shallow draft?

It is something to talk about for the fans, but Poles many times has said quality over quantity this year. I think Poles will be happy take two blue-chip players at #1 and #9 without trading down.
  20. How does trading back help the Bears in a shallow draft?

No, it did not. It was the Bears higher 4th round pick. Bears still control the Eagles 4th.
