    Picking trubisky made it more likely we'd pick top 5 the following year as he'll sit or be be learning on the job. Picking another player would have made a top five pick less likely.

    If we were only a QB away we'd be stuck at 6-10, 7-9, 8-8 territory. Then we'd have to give up multiple firsts to draft the first QB. Imagine the whining then! Get the QB - let him grow while you build around him. If trubisky is what they think we have 12 years with him and a 10 year window.

    Fox should be gone already. This is the ideal time to bring in a new HC who can draft his QB. Instead bears are half assing it as usual.
