Indy's Ballard upset Bears claim Weatherford

With a name like Sterling....but honestly this kid can cover TEs and WRs - he has very good range.

I honestly was surprised he made the 53, I'd seen more out of several other LBs. I hope Caleb gets stashed on the PS, too.

Roster cuts (including cuts across the league)

In case you got used to seeing Ebner in #31.....

Roster cuts (including cuts across the league)

Posted in the other thread, but always much love to bears26. Bummed Caleb got cut loose, that kid always made plays on S/Ts.

Roster cuts (including cuts across the league)

This is probably one of the best graphics I've seen! Great visualization of who/where/why. I hope Gates hangs around, I saw a lot more from him than I ever noticed of J Thomas. But, really glad Caleb is still around in the LBs.

A face for radio, indeed. His childhood was probably pretty bleak.

**Official** Training Camp News & Scheisse [Football Talk Only]

Any injury updates from last night? I saw the cast on Khari, wondered if Caleb (#92) is out long-term or not. He was a great STer last year, that I think is an adequate backup. I did like the coverage skills that Gates (#43) has, he can move.

Let's clear the air *(Only Football talk - not a callout thread)*

People are going to bicker and too many are going to toss around misogynistic insults - just another day that ends in "y." The people with alts and intentionally misspelled thesis-length thread titles are the by far my biggest complaints. We need more wise folks like bears26, period.

    Bears sign OT Riley Reiff

Oh, I'm not mad about it! I hope he can teach the new rooks a lot of useful techniques. If Reiff is on the bench, I'd feel pretty good about snaps when he has to come in, no doubt.

    Bears sign OT Riley Reiff

Guess this means the rookies aren't ready to fill those spots. I was rooting for youth to fill out those spots.

Top 5 Chicago Bears players that can make or break 2022 season

Its not an echo chamber if we let in riff-raff like you. Go back to the Mars Cheese Castle, to be with your people.

Expectations for Velus Jones Jr. this year?

I think given just how many players they have with return ability (Herbert, Dazz, Ebner, etc.) I wonder if we'll only see him on punts (when it comes to ST). I'd also second that it will be a small # of receptions, but potentially he can get some chunk plays.

Top 5 Chicago Bears players that can make or break 2022 season

Remind me again, is the Packers troll an actual Packer Fan that has nothing better to do then stir the shit here or is it just another alt? I honestly don't care either way, but their color scheme of mustard and pond scum was a bad choice.

    Your first Bears game?

Me too! Appreciate the year correction. You a townie?

    Your first Bears game?

I was fortunate enough to see a Bears preseason game against the Bills, here at Notre Dame Stadium. I think it was 1987 (?) so I would've been 9. Don't remember much, except that I was a full-on fan from that point on. Mind you, we already had the Super Bowl Shuffle VHS at home, so perhaps I...

Which player did you want to pan out for the Bears the most?

I always tended to get irrationally excited about RBs: be they Harvey Unga, Brock Forsey, Kadeem Carey, Ryan Nall, Robert Woods (his pre-season game against CLE - *chef's kiss*), and soooo many more. I tend to root most for the UDFAs, I guess.

    Moon Mullin has passed away.

This was an excellent essay, written by a colleague. Very professional reporter, developing relationships takes effort!
