  1. Biggs most recent mock draft 3.0

It could become one of the best combos in the league if Wright develops the way he should and Fautanu's athleticism translates (which it should). He would be one of my top targets if they felt a trade down was the best option.
  2. Marc Ross: Bowers not a special player

New York Jets: NFL Draft profile on Georgia tight end Brock Bowers I actually think this article has a good breakdown of Bowers. He might be the best after the catch TE I can remember watching. Georgia used him primarily on slip screens and quick hitters just to get the ball in his hands. His...
  3. Who's a player that will go earlier then people think?

I completely agree. Would not be surprised if he is in the discussion at 9. Finding a 3 tech like him that can get up field and disrupt but is also tough against the run is rare.
  4. For the people with memory loss

I have this same argument all the time. Trubisky was the pick I would have made at the time. He was the consensus top QB and he was far and away my favorite of the three. But something happened after his rookie year that I can't explain to people. Trubisky was one of the more accurate throwers I...
  5. A closer look at Robert Quinn

Thanks for putting this together. I was able to watch some games from last year and agree with the take comparing him and Floyd. Floyd was a good overall football player but a below average pass rusher, where Quinn is a really good pass rusher but below average at everything else with the style...
  6. What Should Happen if Mitch Doesn't Develop

This is where I get lost also. I know it was a small sample but when Mitch was coming out of college he was far and away my favorite QB prospect. I watched every throw he made and he was insanely accurate, comfortable in the pocket, athletic and a pretty good decision maker. And when he made a...
  7. ***OFFICIAL*** Bears @ Giants IGT — New York, New York

Rainy, miserable day here in New York. Giants are definitely not as bad as their record. Plus, I think after all the heat Shurmer has taken for going away from Barkley against Philly I can see him getting 30 touches. Going to be a close game.
  8. Pretty tough road for the Vikings to win the Division now...

I definitely agree. Packers schedule is really easy after Minny. Toughest game looks like Atlanta in GB. Can see them making a run if they win Sunday night.
  9. The Mack effect

This is the thing that surprises me the most about Trubisky. I went and watched just about every game he played in college and he was one of the more accurate throwers I have seen coming out of college. I keep hearing about all the mechanical changes they made to his footwork, but I just hope...
  10. Brad Biggs opinion of the game

Just cut and paste the link into an incognito window/browser. The site can't count your site visits so seems to work every time.
  11. Roquan Smith Makes too much sense

He may be a physical clone but he is nowhere near as physical..He gets put on roller skates when taking on blocks time and time again. He lacks the play strength of those two by a huge margin..I would be shocked if he is the pick..Which means he most likely will be the pick.
  12. Roquan Smith Makes too much sense

Understood that is the primary responsibility and how the defense is designed. But we both know this is not always the case. As inside power and weakside runs flip the responsibilities..He simply can not hold-up inside..Teams will target him in the run game..He got killed at Georgia in these...
  13. Roquan Smith Makes too much sense

In my view he is a 4-3 weakside OLB only..He seriously gets manhandled on a game by game basis. His strengths are scraping sideline to sideline and dropping in coverage. To say he struggles taking on blocks is a complete understatement. He is simply overmatched.
  14. Why isn't Roquan Smith getting Love on this board?

Yeah he is a 4-3 Will only..He gets killed inside trying to take on blocks..Really good at scraping over the top to make plays sideline to sideline..But he is not an inside linebacker in any system in the NFL.
  15. Quenton Nelson, Notre Dame

I normally don't post but I 100% agree with this and I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this. I have went and watched every game I could find on him and he definitely struggles when asked to pull, get out in front on screens or stretch blocks. If you want someone to move his man off his...
  16. Pre Camp Thought of the Day

I really stopped paying attention to the PFF stats..It's been talked about in a few different locations and also on the PFF site how they don't take scheme into consideration. The Bears pass blocking is designed to push everything around the pocket allowing the QB to step-up. It is why the...
  17. Fales is the QB of the (hopefully very near) future

Just watched 3 of Fales' games from last year. Has a long, long way to go if he even wants to make the team. Arm strength is a few steps below McCown and he is all over the place with his accuracy. Has bad footwork in the pocket and almost throws flat-footed. Throws a nice ball in between...
  18. Ego Ferguson Thread

Definitely talented. Just watched his TCU game and looked much more explosive. Made a lot of stops and had a few hits on QB. Didn't look great against Arkansas but you can see the talent vs TCU.
  19. Ego Ferguson Thread

He is strictly a nose. Not going to give you anything with a pass rush but holds the point and takes on doubles pretty well. Definitely seems to lack instincts/awareness. Loved the fuller pick but not sure how much Ferguson can do in his first year
  20. 2014 NFL Draft Thread

He is an outstanding corner..can't pass up a player like him..Defense just got a lot better
