  1. Tory Taylor 46.3 avg, Trenton Gill 46.1 avg - What will Bears do with the extra 0.2 yards of field position?

Taylor will only have 1 less 300 yard passing game through his first 3 seasons, maximum.
  2. Poles has lost it

In all fairness if the Bears are paying reporter Aaron Wilson $220,000 to play DL for them, then Poles really has lost it.
  3. The Workout: This should make your di*k hard

He’ll be 78 years old next week, impressive he’s still playing.
  4. So - do we believe in Ryan Poles now?

Getting yourself into the position where you can pick the consensus #1 QB without being anything like the worst team in the league not so easy though right? This draft fell extremely well the reason for that is a number of key decisions Poles has made to bring this situation about. Hard to...
  5. Rome Odunze

Someone said Odunze is the easiest character evaluation and has the lowest bust potential in the draft and I see that. Seems such a great kid.
  6. Caleb Williams pocket awareness is 🔥🔥

Pocket presence is such a huge factor in making the step up into the NFL. I can’t remember a single Bears QB who has been strong in that area.
  7. In your opinion...how good will Justin Fields be?

No it’s next to the ‘Detroit is full of Homeless Crackheads with no Teeth’ banner.
  8. In your opinion...how good will Justin Fields be?

We have a ‘Haul of Fame’ banner but won’t unfurl it until it happens. Might be it stays in the loft for now.
  9. What will you do when the Bears officially draft CW?

It kind of baffles me that the Bears have been in the Packers’ shadow for so long purely down to QB play, and we watch every single dynasty be built on a franchise QB, yet fans are still pining after Justin Fields. He was great fun to watch at times (mostly as a runner) but absolutely...
  10. Chop Robinson

The stats vs eye test debate could go on forever, there are strong examples both ways. So hard to evaluate how college players will translate to the pros. It amazes me that anyone speaks with total confidence about it, it’s great to have opinions as that’s the fun of the whole thing (and some...
  11. Chop Robinson

Could do with DE / Edge help but I don’t think the value will be at 9 for that position. There’s a good chance that one of the top WRs or Bowers will be there and it would be hard to pass on any of them. This could set the offence and CW up for years.
  12. No rookie QB has been supported the way the Bears are supporting Caleb Williams

I really liked JF and wish him the best, but he clearly didn’t prove himself as a passer through 3 years so it was a fair decision to move on. No the conditions weren’t always ideal for him but they rarely are. I’d say it’s very unlikely JF ends up a top 15 QB in the league but if he does I’ll...
  13. Former Bears legend makes a comeback a 2nd time

‘Legend’ is a stretch but he was good for a few years.
  14. Dude Poles handed out Joey Porter Jr. for is about to head to the CFL 😬

It’s infuriating to see someone with obvious talent and a huge opportunity in football fall out of it because he doesn’t give a f*ck. Should invent a machine to suck the ability out of a guy like that and give it to someone with a work ethic. Huge character misjudgment on Poles’ part but at...
  15. How does trading back help the Bears in a shallow draft?

Think this is a draft and the Bears’ roster is at a stage where if there is a blue chip talent at 9 you just go on and take them. Poles has done a great job this offseason and there aren’t lots of holes anymore. It’s ready for quality over quantity.
  16. Schein: Bears will be Cinderella team of 2024

I like that CW doesn’t give a f*ck what anyone thinks of the pink stuff and nails by the way. Knowing what the reaction would be, that level of single mindedness is what he will need in order to deal with the pressure.
  17. Schein: Bears will be Cinderella team of 2024

If CW is as good as Schein predicts then Bears will do very well, but it’s a big if. He is as talented as any QB you’ll ever see coming out of college but everyone knows it doesn’t always translate, or takes some time. I think he only has to put up similar numbers to Fields last year though...
  18. I am worried now

They don’t need a smokescreen when picking first.
