    The only negative with Gase is that if the Bears offense is even halfway decent with him running the show next season, he will more than likely get hired as a head coach somewhere since he was so close to getting hired this season.

    You are right. Seriously, why not? They've watched it happen in their own backyard, why not copy? Even if the Cubs lay a turd this year and next, look at all the excitement and buzz they have created in the past 3 years building up to this point. The Bears would love that positive attention.
