    Micah Parsons

I've seen this movie before. We did this with Mitch. We drafted a QB and then built a great defense while the offense became an afterthought. The Mack trade was the final piece that was supposed to put us over the top. We gave up four picks in the trade and then paid him a huge extension. Mitch...

What would you give to trade up for MHJ

I'm not interested in trading up for MHJ. He seems like an amazing player, I'd LOVE to have him on the Bears, but the talent gap between MHJ and Odunze/Nabers is not worth whatever you have to give up to get MHJ. Poles has done a great job of stockpiling draft picks after years of Pace trading...

It's clear to me the best option at 9 is to trade down

I'm old enough to want nothing to do with the Bears favorite operating model; draft a QB and then build a great defense. I truly hope the Bears draft a blue chip offensive piece at 9 like Odunze or Bowers or maybe OL help. I get we need an edge. But, for once in my life, I'd love to see the...

    Unpopular Hypotheticals

You must be anarchist. Take CW, the best QB prospect in a long time, add him to a roster that already has some good talent at multiple key positions and watch the Bears become Super Bowl contender for years to come. That is my preference.

REPORT: Bears choosing not to sign CW rn is PROOF Poles hasn’t made up his mind at No. 1 😳

Un, no. The dude has been in Chicago several times, had dinner with coaches and teammates. He's being drafted by Chicago.

Would you be cool with Brock Bowers at #9?

I'd love to see WR and Bowers at 9. Bowers potentially could be an elite TE. Top tier teams have elite talent all over the field. If you get get what you think will be an elite guy at 9, go for it. TE's are also a rookie QB's best friend. They're big targets in the middle of the field. I like...

Are the Bears draft-poor, or is Poles just ahead of the game?

Normally, I wouldn't want to see Poles trade away that much draft capital and instead build through the draft. However, given we're almost certainly drafting Caleb at # 1, who obviously will be a rookie, I like that Poles has spent some of the draft capital to bring in proven vets (Allen and...

Green Bay Packers Fans React to Potential Bears Offense

I'm cautiously optimistic about the Bears O but then I was cautiously optimistic about opening the season against the Cheez-Its at home Week 1 last year. We'll have a rookie QB, a new OC and many new additions to offense. It's going to take some time to jell. I feel a lot better if we took one...

Report: Poles knew the Bears locker room was too immature to keep Fields and Caleb this spring 😳

To be fair, I think most locker rooms would struggle having the very popular incumbent QB and the No. 1 overall pick who has a ton of hype surrounding him on the same team.

Pick 9: who will it be?

If the Bears were to trade down, who do you see them trading with and how far back would you go? Currently, the order looks like this... 10. Jets 11. Vikings 12. Broncos 13. Raiders 14. Saints 15. Colts 16. Seahawks 17. Panthers 18. Bengals 19. Rams 20. Steelers 21. Dolphins 22. Eagles 23...

    No. 1 pick choice

The future rests with Caleb Williams. There is risk no matter who the Bears select so choose the guy who has the highest ceiling, the guy who could possibly transform your franchise from irrelevant to a perennial contender for the next decade +.

ESPN Insider Trade Grade: Bears D+

The value in this trade isn't what we got back. The value in this trade is you can now draft CW and bring him into an organization that isn't a circus. Had the Bears hung on to JF beyond the draft there would be organizational chaos. The fan base would be split. The locker room would be split...

Does the Vikings move help Fields value?

Correct. Payton wants a pocket passer, a guy who can execute his scheme. That is the opposite of what Fields is good at.

Deion Doesn’t Think Caleb Should Play in Chicago

The Dome is on the way. Just 20 more years until it's completed. The Bears Way.

    Has the OL improved?

The bar was so low at center we certainly are better there, now. I don't think this will be a dominate group but it should be improved from last year. I wouldn't be upset if Poles used the 9th pick on the OL. For the 9th pick, I'm torn between a top tier WR (if still available), Bowers or OL help.

    2024 Mock Draft

I feel this is the most likely scenario even though I'd love to see the Bears draft one of the top WR's at 9, or maybe TE or OL help at 9. But, given what Poles has done in FA all of those positions have been addressed. Poles seems to be trying to surround the new QB1 with veterans on offense.

Ian Rappaport: the Bears HAVE YET TO SHOP Justin Fields...

I prefer Caleb Cabal, but, yes.

This means it's unlikely ATL drafts a WR at 8 = good for the Bears

The Bears might keep Fields as a backup

Whatever value Fields would have coming off the bench would be dwarfed by the organizational chaos that would ensue by keeping Fields. The locker room would be split. The fan base would be split. This isn't the dynamic you want on your team or for a new QB1. New England jettisoned Jones for a...

    2021 - QB Class?

Lawrence was injured last year which really diminished his ability to perform. He definitely regressed last season. And yet, he's already taken his team to the playoffs and won a playoff game. I think he will develop into a great QB. But, I agree with you, he isn't great at this moment.
