    An unrelated point - I don't think Tikhonov was Panarin's centre last season in St Petersburg .... he stats indicated more of a checking forward role -as did his stats with the Russian national team. On D I would think they go back to the pairings that they used in the Dallas pre-season game...

    Bickell was waived, but no one claimed him - technically he can be sent down without going through waivers again I think - I think that the only reason that he is playing is to continue to (maybe in vain) showcase him for some hoped for trade - probably also the reason Pokka is on the NHL roster...

    Belfour/Hasek was not a hindsight deal by any stretch -Hasek was a world class international goalie prior to coming into the Hawks' system. Keenan's system was defense first -but whatever - it doesn't really matter in the context of 2015-16.

    I don't know - Baun took a couple of dumb penalties in the first -which isn't criminal -but that second one was block headed and basically came after his first shift after his first penalty in a scoreless game ... in the offensive zone ... dumb dumb dumb - am not sure Q is into that level of...
