    There most likely isn’t but one special QB in the draft & Poles needs to identify him. So I doubt that there isn’t much of a drop from #1 to #2 in his mind.

    A good QB evaluator looks for traits that translate to the NFL level. Pocket presence, arm strength, accuracy, throwing release & intangibles. Focusing on anything else (ex. College playbook) is a recipe for missing on good QBs.
