  1. Keeping Hinrich/Gordon the correct decision.

pinkizdead wrote: Exactly. I don't want that thing on our balance sheet at all. Plus, both parties burned the bridge. It's done.
  2. OT: Tracy McGrady and do you believe in the hype?

What he said. Tmac is done.
  3. OT: Anyone ever been to Washington D.C. ?

If you want to get off the tourist track, visit Adams Morgan, Dupont Circle, U Street, and Georgetown. They're the most interesting neighborhoods by far, and are full of bars, restaurants, and shops.
  4. Rasheed to Boston

I like the move, but as mentioned, they are getting older and less athletic. Rasheed is always a wild card with his effort. I think the Spurs are looking real good out of all the teams right now.
  5. Richard Jefferson to Spurs

Frank Breakfast-Styleham wrote: Where to? He hated playing in Milwaukee. I've always like RJ's passion. He plays hard, which led to some of his leg injuries, but he will assume a leadership role, and playing with Duncan-Parker-Ginobli only makes him that much more valuable. He's a perfect fit...
  6. What do you guys think of Kevin Durrant?

He'll be the next great star once he gains 15 pounds of muscle. He can do it all except defend.
  7. OT: Darko to NY

Darko. Remember, when Dumars picked him over Carmelo, and defended it? Then Larry Brown wouldn't play him because he sucked in practice? That was cool.
  8. Memphis pick may be in play, do we try?

  9. Favorite NBA memory

When the Bulls won the fourth title against Seattle at the UC and Jordan jumped on the scorer's table with his cigar. Charles Smith getting stuffed by Horace Grant and Pippen several times. Reggie Miller beating the Knicks in 15 seconds. Hakeem Olajuwon finally getting a ring thanks to...
  10. Draft Busts

I seriously doubt Rubio will be a bust.
  11. If we lose BG how much can we spend on another fa?

Re:If we lose BG how much can we spend on another SouL EateR wrote: I think the days of crazy signings are over for awhile. The league has a lot of teams bleeding money that David Lee and Gortat better take the MLE and run. As someone else said, teams will be dumping contracts, so I'd hold...
  12. OT: Dontae Stallworth gets 30 days ..wtf ?

As some people stated, it's absurd, but he cooperated with the authorities and legal proceedings and seemed deeply remorseful. I still don't see the same level of outrage from groups like MADD. Why not? But PETA was all over Michael Vick. I guess dogs have more value than humans now.
  13. Kobe's Scowl

SouL EateR wrote: That was the block of the year until Derrick got Punk Rondo.
  14. Steve Cohen: Leave Age Limit Out of Next CBA

dougthonus wrote: Indeed. Your prior quote was dead on as well.
  15. Phil Jackson

Phil is a great coach. Period. He has went through weird phases with the facial hair while living in LA, but I give the man his due.
  16. OT: My favorite Met is a Sox

I think Castro is an upgrade over Corky, if he tones the partying some. He did play with Ozzie on the Marlins and got a ring back in '03.

  18. Kamen to Bulls, 4 way trade idea

Re:Kaman Agent interested in Bulls?!?! I don't think the question with Kaman is the ability. It's with his durability and contract. We already have Deng's contract being an albatross. Sure, he could heal, toughen up, and be a solid player again. But I don't see it right now.
  19. Would you trade Hinrich for Mavs' J.Howard?

Re:What you trade Hinrich for Mavs' J.Howard? It'd be an awesome trade for the Bulls. I think we'd be lucky to get rid of Kirk for an expiring contract. Kidd hasn't been that good in Dallas, but Cuban likes him, so he'll hang around. Same with Howard, although he hasn't been as good these last...
  20. Chicago-Washington idea

Etan Thomas had heart problems last year. Before that, he couldn't play anyhow. The second part of your post is doable substituting the first round picks.
