4-12 appears likely and Worst case scenario 2-14. If Glennon goes down and we dont go qb at #3 its going to be a long, long season. We need to load up on defense this draft because we`re going to need it.

Falcons: L
Bucs: W
Steelers: W
Packers: L
Vikings: L
Ravens: L
Panthers: W
Saints: L
BYE
Packers: L
Lions: W
Eagles: L
49ers: W
Bengals: W
Lions: W
Browns: W
Vikings: W

After a 3-5 start, the Bears go 6-2 after the bye week to finish 9-7 and make the playoffs. In a stunning upset, Glennon leads the bears to victory in the wild card game, yet we get blown out in the next playoff game.

If the Bears go 0-4 to start the season could we see Fox fired and Fangio for the rest of the year?

What a stupid post, imo. I thought you were better than that, but I see you've regressed into a Nancy.

Sept. 10: Falcons L
Sept. 17 @ Bucs W
Sept. 24 Steelers W
Seprt. 28 @ Packers (Thursday) L
Oct. 9 Vikings (Monday) close L
Oct. 15 @ Ravens W
Oct. 22 Panthers close - L
Oct. 29 @ Saints W
Nov. 5. Bye
Nov. 12 Packers close W
Nov. 19 Lions W
Nov. 26 @ Eagles L
Dec. 3 49ers W
Dec. 10 @ Bengals W
Dec. 16 @ Lions (Saturday) W
Dec. 24 Browns W
Dec. 31 @ Vikings L

Adds up to an unbelievable ceiling of 10-6 but I'll conservatively predict 8-8. The last 5 don't seem ridiculous if Bears O is dialed in & Howard & Glennon are still healthy by then.

Laugh now & feel free to bookmark this and tease me if I'm wrong. I don't mind.

Looks top heavy to me, not necessarily easy. You have to win, the division opponents are more important, but the Bears should just want to beat everyone..

We should beat the browns and the 49ers, besides that we might win a conference game. 3-13 at best, but likely 2-14

I wonder if when Fox saw the schedule if he regretted saying we are in striking distance? Unless he meant striking distance to the first overall pick for in 2018

I think the Bears are 2-6 at the bye - Bears will beat 2 of TB, BAL, MIN, NO, CAR.

I think they go 4-4 in the 2nd stretch of the year.

If I had to put my money on a record I would say 6-10.

In the NFL though, it's impossible to know which teams are going to good with things like injuries etc. I wouldn't spend too much time worried about the schedule.

On paper right now the Bears are a 4-6 win team with that schedule but everything can change.

How does a team win 3 games and then get a first half schedule like that? Whoa.

That is a brutal start to the season. 4 straight teams with winning records.

The Goodbye John Fox tour gets a sweet start.

Yeah but they should win 4 of the last 7.

We know the Bears sucked last year and we know that they probably are not a playoff team yet. But.. THROWING THAT ASIDE, independently, this schedule is not that hard. I don't know what you guys are seeing. The Falcons are coming off a superbowl hangover and are played at home in week 1. Is anyone scared of any of the teams in the AFC North? Pittsburgh has good years and bad years and they are at home early in the year as well. Is anyone afraid of any of the other teams in the NFC South? New Orleans looks like they are on a down turn. Bucs and Panthers are hit or miss. No long road trips and a bye in the middle of the season.

A good team would feast on this schedule.

If you wanna say we are bad and are not gonna do well this year. Fine, I get that. But don't blame it on this schedule, lol.

Yeah I thought the same thing. Fox may start the season on the hot seat.

Then we would most likely lose Fangio after the season cause any time a assistant steps up to take the interim head coaching job they never end up going back to their coordinator job after the team hires a new head coach, unless of course he gets the full time HC gig of course.

That is a brutal first half of schedule we got.

That's BS.

It's reality but some don't like reality around here. No matter how much anyone likes it we're in a rebuild and next year will not be the finished product......that's the reality like it or not.
