Wow they had 2 HoF QBs who had 14 total seasons with 4000+ passing yards, but only 2 SB wins to show for it.

Wow only two SBs. Twice as many in the history of our Bears and countless playoff appearances to enjoy. What losers...

Moving forward, this is going to make a lot of dumb arguments even dumber around these parts. Thats why i say only compare players of the same eras.

That’s not the point. It’s gotta be frustrating to Packer backers to get all that good QB play, and only 2 rings to show for it.

In line with that........I, for one, was disappointed that the 80s Bears only won the SB once. At the time, it seemed they were destined to win multiple times.

Yeah but they at least get to watch their team compete every single year and have watched them win SBs in recent memory. This franchise lives in the 80s and brags about most HOFers and all time wins while being one and done in the playoffs while backing in as a 7th seed.

Its damn hard to win Super Bowls and it probably is frustrating for them because they get to see their team in the playoffs almost every single year. I would be happy seeing 1 super bowl victory in my lifetime just to know what its like.

so the cap gets cut and then the owners add an extra game. I’m sure players are thrilled now

Oh you’re not old enough to remember 85 Bears?

It was so great. I was a bit too young to remember the 63 Bears championship, so I was a frustrated fan of mediocre teams for a couple of decades. Then, in 1985, it all came together. The team was loaded with talent, and many were larger-than-life characters. They even made a video mid season saying they were gonna win the SB. So dominant, and so entertaining.

Hang in there. It’s bound to happen again, probably when Mark Cuban or someone like that buys the team

I hate this just as much as I hated expanding the playoffs. The NFL really doesn't make enough fucking money? Some things are just better left alone.
Dude you need to talk to somebody if this sort of stuff causes this level of discomfort for you.

I was only a couple months old. My earliest Bears memories is by dad showing me the shuffle when i was really little and talking about how they won it all that year. I've known losing ever since lol.

that just makes it worse. Bears had legitimate cracks at doing it again, just whatever.

I still maintain it's the culture bred from the ownership.

Yeah. A fish rots from the head down.

I still maintain some hope, because even mediocre organizations occasionally get lucky finding talent, and have success.

They actually removed a preseason game to get the game to actually mean something

Thanks NFL! Now my fiancée is pissed at me because there’s one extra game this year. I’m not mad but damn, why you gotta do that to me.

I doubt the arguments you make can get any dumber, but who knows!
