9 seconds left, Iowa ball, down 3. This is the definition of March Madness.

Close, but not enough.

Iowa has a bright future though. McCaffery is doing great for them. They'll be dangerous next year. Only lose Eric May.

Tony Roe ‏@tonysroe I don't care what resumes say. Iowa is one of the top 34 at-large teams in the country. It's not even close.

The most likely seeds for the tourney are, IMO:
Indiana- 1
Michigan St.- 1 or 2
Michigan- 2 or 3
Wisconsin-3 or 4
Ohio St.- 3 or 4
Illinois- 8 or 9
Minnesota- 10 or 11

Pretty unreal the B1G could have five teams #3 or higher. But that's expected for the best conference in college basketball.

The last four Big Ten Tournament winners have all lost in the Sweet Sixteen.

2012 - MSU - L in Sweet 16 to Louisville
2011 - OSU - L in Sweet 16 to Kentucky
2010 - OSU - L in Sweet 16 to Tennesee
2009 - Purdue - L in Sweet 16 to UConn

So I should pick the Buckeyes to get to the Sweet 16 then?

Yes, and then lose.

The other interesting thing is the last four Big East Tournament Champions have gone to the Final Four or better (UConn won in 2011).
