Of the course Cards are spanking the Padres. Cards always seem to come up big in the playoffs.

Thank God!

Early innings I watched SD strand runners and Cards get generous strike calls with bases loaded on 3-1 pitch, and was frustrated that Team Rabbit's Foot was at it again.

SD better get better pitching in their next game, but it is a "bullpen game" because Team Rabbit's Foot, the #5 Seed, drew an opponent missing its starters.

Tatis is magic!
His error led a to a Cardinal run they should not have had. (They got two instead of one) and I feared it would be costly. Thanks to Wil Myers it was not.

But, yes, Tatis is talented and exciting!

Yeah 2 jacks though. I'd say he made up for it.

If we have a season it’s going to really put fantasy players to the test with an abbreviated spring training and shortened season.

My league for example is a QS league. Not much emphasis on bullpen but we do score SV/BSV (90% of the league punts saves) but the winning strategy with our settings is to stream your ass off. With an abbreviated spring training we could be looking at some shit (short) outings from starters making the QS category useless. Tougher to get wins from them too. We’ll probably have to start using RP to manage era/whip, and snipe some wins/saves.

Jose Altuve going Full Chuck Knoblauch.

Three throwing errors in last two nights. And costly ones at that.

Yeah he got fucked on that check swing call in the 9th though. You gotta check with 1st base on that 100% of the time.

I would love a TB/Atl series. Just think of the savings on Jet fuel MLB gets.

Bad luck for the Dodgers getting all their runs tonight instead of when Kershaw pitches, when they'll need them.

Wright is still over his head and did not deserve a rotation day. I get giving him exposure as he was a first round talent but the Dodgers are the fav going in to win it all and you play for the knock out.

I was a little shocked that the Braves didn't promote Mike Foltynewicz before season end for rotation depth. That might end up biting them in the ass.

That said I wouldn't be mad if Theo did a Folt for Schwarber swap this off-season.

Add to it they left Newcomb off also. Both were rotation locks in the past and shoved aside this year. And seeing how their rotation is 2.5 deep this is a problem.

Them getting knocked off really will end up as a rotation depth issue.

Folty was trending on Twitter when the Braves gave up 11 in the first.
