I did see him in preseason for a few minutes. just think he's very raw

“I wouldn’t say he’s behind or ahead,’’ coach Billy Donovan said of Simonovic, who was a draft-and-stash pick in the second round of the 2020 draft. “I think he’s got to learn the NBA game, the physicality. He’s got to get stronger.

“This is probably going to be a year where he’s going to have to go G League, us, back and forth, but I do think for a lot of those young guys, that’s the opportunity to play. One of his challenges is he’s been a center pretty much his whole life, and he’ll be fine there. I think the physicality and the speed and the athleticism of the game are probably a lot different. Him catching up to the quickness of it will take a little bit of time.’’

Overall, playing pretty good. Would like more two man game with LaVine/Demar and Vuc. LaVine and Demar are always a threat to score and can pass…make it easy for vuc, who can also always score and is a threat to pass. It’s tough to stop

It’s completely night and day. I said it before pre-season, but this is going to be a team no one wants to play in the playoffs. They’re only going to get better. If healthy their floor is 45-50 wins. If they max out and real gel, I wouldn’t rule out 55-60 wins. Still early, but the ingredients are there

Demar is a true vet. Fundamentally sound and smart…had the mismatch…had to make a quick decision when help came, immediately kicked it out to Williams who had a nice drive to the basket that resulted in a score by Johnson. The little things.

Zach is ridiculously good. Likely the most underrated player in the league. That’ll change this season once the Bulls starting winning
