Terrible game especially coming off a loss. Bulls might be feeling themselves and buying into the hype. They need to stay hungry each and every defensive possession and move that ball around on offense. Let’s hope this wakes them up

I think individual player defensive ratings and DWS are very flawed advanced metrics. Just looking at some things, its clearly bias towards bigs, and really doesn't tell the whole story into how good or not some defensive players are, and does hide a lot of bad bigs.

A good example is how Klay Thompson made the All-Defensive 2nd Team in 2018-19, yet is near last on the Warriors in D rating that season.

Honestly I think advanced metrics really struggle to portray the actual good defensive players in the league. A lot of it is how there just aren't recorded stats for good defense. 538 has the DRAPTOR rating which may be the closest, but even it has issues.
