I actually expected Memphis to own the West this season, but yeah lack of health will do that to a team. Though if I recall they went on their long run last year starting in January, didn't they?
Yep, they got off to a slow start last year and then turned it on late December or so

Once they have Morant, Bane, and JJJ playing together again, I expect them to finish at or near the top in the west

Cade Cunningham had shin surgery. Is it anywhere as serious as Kevin white?

I love Ja. Wouldnt expect him to say anything else. But, he just gave a whole West bulletin board material. Good luck

Yeah, he’s a savage. He’s having a special year so far. What could have been….
He probably would have been meh here, traded when ball signed, and became an all star on another team lol

The draft comes before FA so Ball likely wouldn’t have been signed and they would have went after a 3/4 in FA instead

It's this why the Curry-less Warriors just blew them out?

Naaa the two teams already hate eachother.

Also, when did a 14 point game become a blowout? I thought 10-15 point leads in the NBA are never safe? So how can a not safe lead also be a blowout?

warriors are a really good home team, and the grizz have been a sub par road team. This outcome wasn’t that shocking

I particularly enjoy Klay acting like a regular season game means something lol

For a guy that has some rings, he should know better. If it had been the Grizz winning easily and acting like they just won something, Klay and Draymond would be the first ones saying, oh it was just a regular season game
It wasn’t a regular season game. Christmas Day is in the spotlight and teams play like the playoffs but it isn’t what he was saying. They been chirping at each other and Memphis walked in on a national spotlight and got smoked. Memphis is a top team and will be there all year but no way was it just a regular season game and if it was to Memphis. They got a ways to go to knock off the ones who been there. I love their swag and hope for 5 years of of greatness from the Pels and them. You got to win it before you can talk like everyone else is nothing

The game wasn't particular close in the 4th Q. Warriors touched 20 point lead a few times, 18 with 3 to go. Grizz clawed it down to 13 close towards the end. Teams can come back from 15 down, sometimes with ease, but the Grizzlies didn't do that. It also wasn't like that 14 point margin happened at a foul fest at the end of a game either. But you do you.

Keep in mind, I will be rooting for the Grizzlies to beat the Warriors in any potential playoff series.
