It’s not just viewership for me…it’s just the game overall. The game is softer, everyone thinks they’re a superstar, jacking 3s every possession etc. Just a poor product and completely uninteresting

The superstar thing is nothing new.

Jacking nothing but threes and rather soft defense is certainly part of it. Also the best players not playing every game they possibly can, also a problem for the product.

Y’all see Ja’s dunk last night?! Unreal!

Grizz have won their last 9 and have started to separate themselves along with the nuggets from the rest of the west

I don't know what it is about CBS, but the field looks tiny.

Short of getting into foul trouble, Shaq would destroy all those guys inside.

However, new era got the deep ball advantage.
People were like Tim Duncan over Bird. Na, bro.

Honestly, the new era has some size on the older one. Too bad they play soft lol

Like okay, I assume Shaq guards Embiid. Who guards Giannis? Magic?

By size do you just mean "beefier"?

Curry is 6'2 (allegedly)
LeBron is 6'9
Embiid is 7'0
KD is 7'0
Greek is 7'0

Magic is 6'9
Kobe is 6'7
Jordan is 6'6
Bird is 6'9
Shaq is 7'1 or 7'2 depending on what day you ask him.

Curry and Magic are the only players on here who weren't All-D at some point in their careers.

So the old era has only one 7 footer in Shaq, who isn't a speedster either by any means. It would probably be harder for him to play defense.

Magic, Kobe, and Jordan were not exactly known for their outside shots, for Magic, he was just starting to get the hang of hitting them before HIV hit.... Shaq obviously didn't shoot threes, but no one is asking him too, and the same would apply to Greek, even though he does shoot threes. Almost feel like you have Shaq on Greek and let him shoot his poor jumper.

Idk, the matchups are gonna be weird for both sides.

No one is going to stop Greek when he’s allowed to travel and bulldoze people like Walter Payton. On the flip side, how would the refs officiate Shaq in the post? He liked to bang with his shoulder in the post. Either way, no one’s stopping him.

Sure Shaq is unstoppable inside, but 3 is more than 2 so the rest of those guys better clamp up the 3pt line

By size I meant height, as you pointed out they are taller than the older squad

The matchups would be challenging

The Sacramento Kings are 25-18 and 3rd in the West.

I know I’m in the minority on this, but I don’t hate what the kings are doing. Sabonis and fox make a nice duo. And davion Mitchell and dicincenzo are two solid complimentary wing players…and they still have Barnes for now lol. Considering the kings can’t use FA to attract stars, they managed to get an all star in sabonis to build around

Maybe so. But they have Fox already, and IMO it’s easier to find a really good guard than it is to find a really good big man

That kings lineup is better post trade than people realize

Good job, let's see if they finally make the playoffs
I’d be shocked if they don’t. Although, I guess top 6 only are guaranteed to be in the playoffs and not the play in tourney
