I've said it before but it bears repeating (pun intended), this isn't a good team by design. This is a year of evaluation and development that's purposefully designed to be the foundation of a rebuild. Each loss gets us closer to a better draft pick and, if Justin doesn't get hurt ?, allows him and some of the rookie/2nd year players (Braxton Jones, Velus Jones Jr, Fields, Brisker, Gordon, etc.) to get more reps and improve. I don't see anyone on the team quitting and Flus has at least kept the players motivated to TRY to win - even if they are woefully undertalented right now. There is going to be ups and downs by all these players, but rather than week to week, we should be looking at overall progression over the course of a season. Buckle up, buttercups, it's going to get worse when we play good teams lol
Hopefully everyone will have some solace, though it is easy to be reactionary and want to win in the moment during the game, in trying to look at the larger, long-term picture. As long as no one that's young(ish, considering Velus lol) gets hurt, they get to learn all season and try to get better. Hopefully Braxton Jones and Roquan can hit the weight room together so they don't get so easily thrown around (by a QB in Quan's case haha)
