Flacco was a Jet last year, so I'm thinking they were comfortable in the player, so the deal was easy. Also the Eagles are a hyper active team, so probably easier to work with than most teams.

Given that Flacco is in Philadelphia, the quarterback's delay in getting to New York is rather inexplicable. Flacco is showing the same sense of urgency in rejoining the Jets as he does under pressure.
