Good luck, remember to skip questions you are completely lost on and go back to them later, if you have time. Also, be sure to read the stuff in the reading section carefully, because while it may seem easy, there are bound to be one or two tricky questions.

Follow my advice, and you will be well on your way to a 31 score*, just like me!!!!

A score in the mid/upper 20's is still very good. I got a 31 in large part because I scored a 35 on the reading portion, and apparently it was really easy the year I took it.

I got 28 on the test, 34 on the math portion. And answer all the questions, there are no penalties for guessing like on the SAT

I don't remember what I got on mine. It was 18 years ago that I took it. I just remember it being really easy.

I walked out of the SAT's because I already signed my papers to go into the Marine Corps at the time of those.

The English portion killed me. There were like 5 questions at the end where I had to just randomly bubble in an answer because I was out of time. And I hate the essay portion. It is so stupid. They say it's like when teacher gives you an in-class essay. Which is not true at all. Because when teacher gives you that essay, you usually are allowed to prepare an outline, and even if you aren't, you know the topic before hand and can prepare. The ACT/SAT you go in on that essay cold turkey

Well my class (2006) was the first class with the writing on the ACT, what I posted above is what I told my adviser, who used to be an English teacher, she was like others have expressed the same concern, don't worry too much about it. I don't know if colleges have changed their evaluation of it 5 years later
