I forgot which Football announcer or commentator, whomever, said............"Chicago, where WRs go to die!"

Muhsin Muhammad said that. Rex Grossman got Bernard Berrian paid tho as he had a great deep ball. Vikings paid big money for Berrian in FA and he was the suck for them.

If there was one good thing Phil Emery accomplished it was ending the Bears' stigma in regards to receivers. The Bears have had a few lean years but generally its no longer a place to be out to pasture despite the continued woes at quarterback. Until this past season Allen Robinson did pretty damn well for himself in Chicago.

Good post....I was a Robinson fan...........i'm only bringing up the fact that WRs generally don't want to stay here. There has to be a good reason for it.

A-Rob came from the Jaguar Paw....why would he go back? Rhetorically NOT Argumentative....
you raise a very valid point yes. I can't really use the Browns or Bills as examples anymore you know. perhaps the Giants or Jets would work.

Aside from when we had Marshall and Jefferey, when did we not have the worst receiving corps?

Can we fix it? Let see, off the top of my head....
Muhsin Muhammad
Bernard Berrian
David Terrell
Kevin White
Johnny Knox
Cameron Meredith
Mark Bradley
Rasheid Davis
Earl Bennett
Devin Aromashadu
Bobby Wade
Roy Williams
Dane Sausagebacon
Marcus Monk
Daniel Braverman
Eddie Royal
Justin Gage
Airese Curry
Kendall Wright
Dontrell Inman
Javon Wims

Only a Bears fan could think that any of these guys were good receivers.
And who was throwing to them?

AR finally has a good QB.

Matt Stafford.........SB #2 incoming.
I guarantee the Rams will not win the Super Bowl next season.
