Anyone else having problems on mobile?

Occasionally the bottom ad position interferes with my keyboard on mobile and closes it while I'm in the middle of a reply. Chrome on Android. Anyone else having this problem?

I use FireFox on mobile for this site, though since the pandemic, I haven't typed a post on mobile for CCS. I have read and it's just fine.

No issues w/ reading on my end. The problem only comes up when I'm trying to reply, and it's not 100% of the time. Super annoying when it happens though. I'm just trying to see if it's an isolated issue w/ me personally, or something that's impacting more users.

So I just logged into the site via Chrome and made a post in B & I.

Totally had the exact problem OP. I usually log in via mobile using an Ad Blocker Browser so those ads were new to me, but it was very frustrating trying to type three sentences.

Yes. It's extremely annoying. This site is pretty bad on mobile.

Which sucks because the whole reason for the software switch last year was to achieve a better mobile site.

I am sure we'll get this figured out by 2030.

The forum was great on tapatalk. In order to make the site work on mobile, I have to use FireFox Focus and block javascript. It runs like trash otherwise and sometimes the ad at the top will just autoplay out of nowhere if I left the site loaded, even if my screen is off.

I remember blasting Tapatalk because I felt like downloading a separate app to make the message board more readable was the stupidest thing ever.

I kind of want to send Tapatalk an apology letter.

Typing on mobile chrome as we speak. No issues. Are you talking the square ad? You shouldn’t see a pop up ad to X out at all.

The site works fine on mobile. A lot better than the old one.

Yes, the square ad at the bottom. I'll screen shot it later on tonight.

Also, to clarify, it's not really a pop-up, it just keeps closing the mobile keyboard every time you type a few characters.

I'm not sure a screen shot will really communicate what's happening visually, but I can do it. It will just look like the ad is there below the post reply input box, with a closed mobile keyboard.

I use Chrome on Android, yesterday an ad came up when I had scrolled down and was at the bottom. It did block the choices to navigate the site. It was definitely misplaced and had never happened before last night. I don't remember much else, I was just popping in for a minute.

Might be an android issue. I found this:

What's the normal process for a fix on something like this? Thanks! check in beta and dev builds. if it is working fine in those browsers, it's likely that chrome developers messed something in current build and it should eventually get fixed in a future update. if beta/dev/canary are showing...
